Processor Pickup Information

Your beef share will be dry-aged for 10-14 days, custom cut to your specifications, and professionally packaged by the processor. Once your order is ready, the processor will contact you directly to arrange pickup.

Preparing for Pickup

A half or quarter beef represents a substantial amount of frozen meat, so please come prepared for transport.

For customers traveling any distance, we recommend bringing large blankets, quilts, or insulated covers to place over your boxes of beef during the trip home. This helps maintain product quality, especially during warmer weather.

During the spring and summer months, we do not recommend transporting your beef in the bed of a pickup truck unless it is protected in coolers or otherwise insulated from direct heat and sunlight.

Most customers find that transporting their beef inside an air-conditioned vehicle is the best option.

A quarter beef typically requires 4–6 cubic feet of freezer space, while a half beef requires 8–12 cubic feet
