Reserve a Quarter Beef

Grassfed Beef You Can Trust

Filling your freezer with clean, regeneratively raised beef shouldn’t be complicated.

Here’s exactly how it works.

How It Works

1. Reserve your quarter
Secure your spot online.

2. Place your $250 deposit
Pay by card, Venmo, cash, or check.

3. We deliver to the processor
Your beef is harvested at Kased Brothers (Summit, MS) and aged properly.
We receive the Hot Carcass Weight (HCW) at that time.

4. Pay your balance
$6.25 per pound based on HCW.
Balance is due once weight is confirmed.

5. Complete your cut sheet
We email your customization form. I’m happy to help you decide what works best for your family.

Note: A quarter is half of a half, so some cuts are divided between two customers.

6. Pick up your beef
Ready in about 10–14 days.
You’ll pick up from the processor and pay them directly for processing.
Delivery may be available for a reasonable fee.

What Does a Quarter Beef Cost?

Because cattle vary in size, final cost depends on weight.

Typical Quarter: ~175 lbs HCW
(Range: 125–200 lbs)

Beef Cost

$6.25 × your quarter’s hanging weight

Processing Cost

Paid directly to processor
Currently $1.15/lb + any specialty requests

What Should You Budget?

Most families invest around $1,400 total, including processing.

Final price is determined after harvest when the carcass is weighed.

What You’ll Take Home

From a typical 175 lb quarter, expect approximately:

• 40–60 lbs ground beef
• Steaks (ribeye, strip, sirloin, etc.)
• Multiple roasts
• Brisket
• Short ribs
• Stew meat
• Soup bones (optional)

Packaged take-home weight is typically 60–65% of hanging weight
(Approximately 105–115 lbs of beef.)

Freezer Space Needed

A quarter beef requires approximately:

• 4–5 cubic feet of freezer space
• A small chest freezer
• Or about half of a standard upright freezer

Vacuum sealed beef lasts at least 36 months in a deep freezer.
